IV Therapy

Personalised Intravenous Vitamin Drips for Radiant Skin, Energy and Optimal Well-being

We offer luxury IV injections and personalised intravenous nutrient infusions to support skin health, vitality, and overall well-being. Our IV therapy is administered by highly trained professionals, ensuring both safety and an elevated client experience.

Busy lifestyles, stress, and poor nutrition can deplete essential vitamins and minerals—affecting energy, immunity, and skin health. While a balanced diet should always be the foundation of good health, nutrient loss during food preparation and the demands of daily life often make supplementation necessary.

That’s where our Wellness IV vitamin drip treatments come in.

Using premium-quality vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants, IV therapy for skin and health delivers essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream — bypassing the digestive system for maximum absorption and fast, effective results.

This method ensures the rapid and efficient absorption of nutrients, bypassing the digestive system and delivering them directly into the bloodstream. As a result, your body receives a higher concentration of essential vitamins and minerals, enhancing their effectiveness.

IV therapy is frequently utilised in both aesthetic and medical settings for a variety of purposes, including:

  • Administering vitamins in a controlled manner to promote overall health, vitality, and anti-aging benefits, while improving skin quality and body function.
  • Targeting specific needs such as boosting immune system strength and increasing energy levels.
  • Providing nutritional support through vital vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream when oral intake is insufficient or not an option.
  • Customised IV "cocktails" can be created to meet your individual needs, incorporating nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin D, glutathione, amino acids, and essential minerals to optimise wellness.

FAQ's

  • What are IV injections?

IV injections are one of the fastest and most controlled ways to deliver beneficial substances like vitamins into the body. Unlike oral vitamins, which are only 20% absorbed due to digestion, IV injections bypass the digestive system, allowing around 90% of the nutrients to be directly absorbed. This method ensures that vitamins and minerals are absorbed quickly and directly into the bloodstream, providing more significant benefits than food or supplements alone.

  • How do IV infusions work?

IV infusions boost physical and emotional wellness by delivering essential vitamins and nutrients, supporting optimal performance. Proper nourishment boosts overall health, reduces illness, and enhances mental clarity.

IV therapy can support your well-being in various ways, such as:

    • Boosting immune health
    • Increasing energy levels
    • Easing symptoms of depression and anxiety
    • Enhancing mental clarity and cognitive function
    • Alleviating migraine symptoms
    • Improving asthma and allergy symptoms
    • Combating fatigue
    • Accelerating wound healing
    • Strengthening muscles and tissues
    • Preventing free radical damage
    • Slowing the aging process
    • Supporting hair, skin, nails, and eye health
    • Brightening skin tone and reducing blemishes
    • Minimising the appearance of wrinkle
  • What are its effects, and when will I see results?

IV beauty treatments, or infusions, deliver nutrients directly into the bloodstream for faster, more effective absorption. Since the injection bypasses the digestive system, effects can often be seen almost immediately, especially in cases of hydration. Over time, with consistent treatments, the benefits of vitamins and other nutrients will accumulate, leading to more significant improvements in overall wellness and skin health.

While scientific evidence specifically linking IV injections to beauty benefits is still limited, anecdotal reports suggest the following advantages:

    • Hydration: IV injections deliver a concentrated dose of fluids directly into the bloodstream, improving hydration levels from within. Proper hydration is essential for maintaining healthy skin, helping to improve skin elasticity, reduce dryness, and provide a plump, youthful appearance.
    • Nutrient Infusion: Many IV beauty treatments include vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support skin health. Key ingredients like vitamin C and B vitamins. Glutathione supports skin health by encouraging collagen production and shielding cells from oxidative stress.
    • Skin Brightening & Glow: Ingredients such as vitamin C and glutathione are associated with skin brightening. They promote an even skin tone and enhance a natural glow. These antioxidants help reduce pigmentation and improve overall radiance.
    • Detoxification: Certain IV infusions contain detoxifying agents such as glutathione or activated charcoal. These compounds aid in toxin elimination, potentially improving skin clarity and supporting a healthier complexion.
    • Boosted Energy & Well-being: IV injections can provide an immediate nutrient boost, which some believe enhances energy levels and overall well-being. When the body is nourished, it may reflect positively on the skin's appearance and overall vitality.

It is important to note that the effectiveness of IV beauty treatments can vary from person to person. Immediate results may be visible in some areas (such as hydration), and the full benefits—especially for skin health—tend to improve over time with consistent treatments.

IV beauty treatments are typically safe, though not suitable for everyone. To ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate, it is essential to review your medical history, allergies, and any potential risks with a healthcare professional.

Before undergoing an IV beauty treatment, it is important to consider the following factors:

    • Consultation with a Healthcare Professional: Consulting a qualified healthcare professional—such as a doctor or licensed nurse—is strongly advised before undergoing an IV beauty treatment to ensure it’s safe and suitable for you. They will evaluate your overall health and determine if the treatment is appropriate. They can also guide you on which specific nutrients or ingredients may be most beneficial based on your needs.
    • Allergies and Sensitivities: Inform your healthcare professional of allergies or sensitivities—especially medications, vitamins, or ingredients commonly found in IV infusions—to help avoid potential adverse reactions or complications during treatment.
    • Medical History: Provide a detailed medical history, including chronic conditions, past surgeries, or ongoing treatments. Certain medical conditions or medications may interact with the IV infusion or present risks, so disclosing this information is essential for your safety.
    • Potential Risks and Side Effects: Understand the risks and side effects connected to the specific IV beauty treatment you are considering. Although rare, complications like infection, vein irritation, allergic reactions, or medication interactions may occur. Being fully aware of these risks will help you make an informed decision.
    • Credentials of the Provider: Ensure that the IV treatment is administered by a qualified and licensed healthcare professional, such as a doctor, nurse, or medical spa professional. Verify their credentials and experience to ensure you are receiving safe and appropriate care.
    • Treatment Goals and Expectations: Clarify your treatment goals and expectations with the healthcare professional. IV beauty treatments are not a quick fix. Discuss realistic outcomes and how they align with your desired results.
    • Cost and Maintenance: Consider the value of the treatment, as optimal results may require multiple sessions. It’s also important to inquire about any necessary maintenance or follow-up treatments to sustain the benefits over time.
    • Alternative Options: Explore other beauty treatments or therapies that address your concerns. Non-invasive treatments offer similar results without the need for IV infusions.
  • How long does it last?

The duration of the effects depends on the type of IV treatment you receive, along with your personal health and medical condition. Your practitioner will provide more specific information based on the infusion you choose.

  • Does it hurt?

You will feel a brief, sharp prick from the needle. This sensation is temporary, and if you are particularly anxious about injections, your practitioner may offer numbing cream to make the process more comfortable. However, in most cases, this is not necessary.

  • Are there any side effects?

While IV injections are generally safe, there are potential risks and side effects, including:

    • Infection: The risk of infection at the injection site or in the bloodstream if sterile techniques are not followed.
    • Phlebitis: Inflammation of the vein that can cause pain, redness, and swelling. In severe cases, it may lead to blood clots.
    • Thrombosis: Prolonged use of an IV catheter can increase the risk of blood clots, which may lead to deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism.
    • Allergic Reactions: Some individuals may experience mild to severe allergic reactions to the medications or fluids administered, ranging from itching and rash to anaphylaxis.
    • Fluid Overload: Rapid delivery of excessive fluids may cause swelling, shortness of breath, or heart-related complications—particularly in those with underlying health conditions.
    • Nerve Damage: This happens rarely, but an incorrect needle placement or prolonged catheter use can cause nerve damage, leading to pain, numbness, or tingling.

At our clinic, injections are administered by qualified healthcare professionals who adhere to strict safety protocols. If you experience any unusual symptoms during or after your injection, inform your healthcare provider immediately.

Certain conditions may prevent you from undergoing IV treatments, including:

    • A current or history of cancer, particularly malignant melanoma and recurrent non-melanoma skin cancer or pre-cancerous lesions. If you've recovered from cancer, you must be off medication for at least 6 months and have approval from your GP before starting treatment.
    • Any active infections.
    • A history of recurrent Herpes Simplex, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, or Porphyria.
    • Immunosuppressive conditions, such as AIDS, HIV infection, or the use of immunosuppressive medications.
    • Diabetes, unless well-controlled.
    • Contraindications depend on the medication used. The medication's symptoms will be explained during your training session.
    • Absolute contraindications include, but are not limited to: Cancer within the last 5 years, pregnancy and breastfeeding, liver conditions and kidney conditions.

Your healthcare provider will discuss any specific contraindications and ensure treatment is acceptable.
